Postpartum care may also include herbal remedies to aid in pospartum healing. I have several body oils/butters and massage creams that can be used during labor and after delivery these oils are recommended to aid in healing. Essential oils will be used during labor as they can help in relaxation, and pain management. If you would like to purchase any oils used or recommended I will be happy to assist you as I am an independent young living representative and I have essential oils available for purchase. Prices of oils vary
I also offer assistance with starting cloth diapering with newborn. We will discuss how to care (wash) and use cloth diapers. Cloth diapers are also available for purchase.
Women should be wrapped as soon after they give birth ideally on day five postpartum. The belly bind should be worn daily for 10-12 hours a day and for at least 40days or longer. Often women who use a belly bind after birth heal the uterus quicker. After a c-section a women should wait until the incision is mostly healed which usually takes 6-8weeks. Client must provide their own wrap, Doula will supply the salve.
